on the 5th of march 2008 i accidentally transferred money online to british gas. over the past few months i have been trying in vain to get this back. a cheque was raised but as it took so long to arrive it was canceled. a chaps transfer was canceled in late july for no discernible reason.
the amount is several thousand pounds. and the account was for a rented property in wimbledon - 87 dora road, sw19 7jt.
i have spoken to many of your agents including kelly thomas, rhiannon davis & alan jones in helmont house cardiff, sarah smith and joanne morris at dearne valley centre but no one has managed to help.
i suggested that, as the large sum was proving difficult to transfer that they raise a series of cheques for to their daily limit to total up the the amount - 10 days to raise a cheque + post x 8 cheques - and was told this was being done, but i have not heard back.
this is now beyond a joke and is verging on the criminal and negligent.
i would like my money returned as soon as possible with the appropriate apologies and compensation for lost interest/the massive hole in my mortgage.
